Hi, I'm Gaby.
Every cookie on this site is mine. I mix it, bake it, box it, and usually eat one to check.
I don't remember a time I wasn't baking. I was the kid standing on a chair stirring the bowl, then the teenager who took over the oven on holidays, then the one everybody asked to bring dessert. Baking was never the hobby. It was the thing I was doing while I figured out what to do.
So I went and got a business degree. Business management and entrepreneurship at Florida Atlantic University, all of it, with the spreadsheets and the pitch decks. Somewhere in the middle of it I realized the business I kept sketching in the margins had flour on it.
Hugalicious is that sketch, for real. A small home bakery in Aventura, one baker, a short menu I keep adding to, and a list of people who keep coming back for them. It's my entrepreneurship project and my favorite thing to do, and I get to call both of those "work."
If you order from me, you'll get a message back from me, not a form. Tell me the occasion. I'll tell you what to get.
โ Gaby
What you can count on
Home-baked
My kitchen in Aventura, not a commercial one. Florida cottage-food rules, followed to the letter.
Real ingredients
Real butter, always. Dark chocolate, the 70% kind. No seed oils, ever.
Made to order
Baked the week you order, a day or two before you get them. A cookie that sat in a warehouse is not one I'd give a friend.
Made with love
By me, by hand, in small batches. Dozens, trays, and boxes.
Hugalicious
